Robert Borden, originally from the Chicago area, served in
the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967-69, doing math problems for artillery pieces. He
studied architecture at Arizona State University and graduated from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1973 with a B.A. in English. Over the
years, he has done murals, photography, poetry and prose. He is presently the
editor and publisher of the Jemez Thunder
newspaper in New Mexico.
